Nancy is a highly skilled and effective mediator and arbitrator whose ADR practice is informed and complemented by her years of experience as a litigator, advocate, counselor and advisor to businesses and individuals involved in a wide range of disputes. Known for her ability to analyze and streamline complex issues to achieve appropriate and cost-effective solutions, Nancy is committed to providing a creative and balanced approach to problem-solving that meets the needs of her clients, and the needs of parties who retain her as a neutral. As a mediator, Nancy mediates all manner of disputes involving two parties or multiple parties either pre-suit, or at the appropriate time in the life of a case in litigation. Nancy is valued for her thorough and thoughtful understanding of the underlying contested issues, as well as for her sensitivity to the people challenges and emotional components that often infuse many disputes. Nancy engages in active listening and productive communication, to work constructively with disputing parties and their counsel to achieve successful mediated outcomes. Nancy is privately retained by parties to mediate disputes, and she is also a mediator on the American Arbitration Association’s (“AAA”) Construction, Commercial, and Consumer Panels. Other Panels on which Nancy serves as a mediator include the Chester County Orphan’s Court, Chester County Court-Annexed Mediation Program, the Pennsylvania Bar Association Roster of Neutrals (Lawyer Dispute Resolution Program), and the Tri-County Suburban Realtors Association (Dispute Resolution Service). Nancy’s deep knowledge of the law gained from decades of practice in general civil litigation is also a recognized asset when she serves as an arbitrator. Her subject area expertise is broad and deep and includes a variety of emerging and traditional markets and industries such as real estate, construction, commercial and consumer disputes, banking, insurance, personal injury and healthcare.
