1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BookMediators ("Platform"), whether as a member of the public, an attorney, legal counsel, or a registered mediator, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use our services.
2. Not Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship
BookMediators is a directory, marketing, and scheduling technology service provider. BookMediators is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Transmission or receipt of information through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and BookMediators.
3. Independent Practitioner Status
Mediators listed on BookMediators are independent neutral professionals or members of independent ADR groups. They are not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of BookMediators. BookMediators does not control the outcome, conduct, mediation agreements, or professional advice rendered during any dispute resolution session. Users and counsel remain solely responsible for conducting their own conflict checks and independent evaluation before formally retaining any mediator.
4. Booking Inquiries & Communications
Submitting an availability request or booking inquiry through BookMediators constitutes a direct scheduling inquiry to the mediator or their designated case management personnel. A booking inquiry is not a binding mediation agreement until formally confirmed, conflict-cleared, and fee-retained directly between the parties and the mediator.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree to submit only accurate, bona fide dispute scheduling requests. Automated scraping, submission of fraudulent or unsolicited promotional materials (spam), or harassment of listed mediators or their administrative staff will result in immediate termination of platform access and potential legal remedies.
6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
The platform and all directory listings are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, BookMediators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, scheduling cancellations, or mediator services.
