Peg Carew Toledo specializes in the mediation of complex litigation, business disputes, and high emotion cases throughout California. She draws on her nearly 30 years of complex civil and commercial litigation, negotiation, and mediation experience. For much of her career, she litigated expert-intensive disputes including consumer protection, environmental, and Proposition 65 cases. Her deep understanding of both the substantive and procedural aspects of these matters provides her with unique insight into technically complex disputes. Prior to becoming a mediator, Peg was certified by the California State Bar as an Appellate Specialist. Peg litigated appeals in state and federal courts, collaborated with plaintiff and defense trial teams to preserve appellate records, served as an “appellate judge” for mock oral arguments, and provided post-trial appellate evaluations across diverse practice areas.
