During his 44 years as a litigator in California, Gary resolved hundreds of cases resulting in six and seven figure recoveries, through mediation, arbitration and trial. His practice emphasized: Medical malpractice cases, Product and premises liability cases, Elder abuse cases involving nursing homes / long-term care facilities, Automobile and truck accident cases, Wrongful Termination, Sexual harassment, and Disability discrimination. Gary is widely published in the areas of elder abuse and nursing home reform, disability discrimination, medical malpractice, and arbitration. In addition, he is a well-respected speaker for both legal and lay audiences. In July 2019, Gary completed the world-renowned Pepperdine University School of Law Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution weeklong course on "Mediating the Litigated Case." Since early 2019, he has been an active settlement officer with the Los Angeles Superior Court's settlement programs, including Resolve Law, the MVP program and its Personal Injury Hub program. Gary is also a member of the ADR panel with the United States District Court, Central District of California. In 2025, Gary became a panel neutral arbitrator with Kaiser Permanente. After serving as an independent ADR professional, Gary became a member of the neutrals panel with ARC.
