Since Greg Garner’s retirement from practicing law, his focus as a mediation professional has been to facilitate mutually beneficial settlements of disputes in the civil courts and for private parties not yet in litigation, emphasizing fairness to all concerned. Greg has conducted hundreds of hours of mediation as a volunteer for Jefferson County Mediation Services (now succeeded by “Oval Options”), the Denver Bar Association’s Court Mediation Services (“CMS”), and Metro Volunteer Lawyers (“MVL”). In 2019, he was honored by Jefferson County Mediation Services naming him a Mediator of the Year along. Greg earned his juris doctor law degree from The University of Chicago Law School, and his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. Additionally, Greg is a Professional Member of the Mediation Association of Colorado (the “MAC”), and a member of Mediators Beyond Borders International (“MBBI”), an organization dedicated to promoting peaceful conflict resolution worldwide.
