Andrew Aerenson is a retired attorney after a 25+ year career, primarily representing real estate and business clients, and is a Business Law professor with a focus on dispute resolution. Andrew is a certified mediator in both Delaware and Colorado, and focuses his mediation practice on real estate disputes and business and partnership disputes. Andrew's career perspective in the practice of law and business has always been “Work it out!” Litigation is the worst way to resolve disputes because of the economic costs, the excessive wastes of time and the emotional burden associated with going to trial. Encouraging parties in a dispute to work through issues and develop acceptable solutions is always the better path forward. Using a neutral third party to facilitate the conversation gives the parties an opportunity to be a part of the solution, rathr than relying on a judge or jury to determine your outcome.
