Matthew Cline is a founding member of Cumberland Litigation, PLLC, and comes from a family of physicians in East Tennessee. He has been representing health care providers since graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Law. Matthew spent the first five years of his career representing Tennessee physicians and clinics in complex federal multi-district litigation involving hundreds of lawsuits from across the country. As a result of this experience, Matthew developed expertise in analyzing huge amounts of information and employing the results of that analysis to the benefit of his clients. Over the course of his career, Matt's practice has expanded to cover a variety of areas in civil litigation where he has represented clients in cases involving: Medical malpractice defense, Health care licensure, Physician credentialing/peer review, Physician contract, Car accident, Contract dispute, Construction law, Fraudulent conveyance. Mr. Cline is a Rule 31 Civil Mediator trained to mediate all other types of civil disputes. As part of his law practice, Mr. Cline has represented clients in cases as simple as a two-party car accident all the way up to the most complex federal multi-district litigation involving parties and lawyers from across the country.
