Shannon Dennis is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed Family and General Civil Mediator. Before starting Noble Mediation and Notary, Shannon worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services for more than 20 years. During her tenure, she served as an eligibility counselor and was tasked with determining eligibility for family assistance benefits. She was later promoted to program specialist where she would review and attempt to resolve appeals filed by customers prior to the appeal proceeding through the administrative hearing process. Most recently, Shannon serves as a program coordinator and State witness for the DHS Appeals and Hearings Division where she presents, under oath, the Department’s evidence to hearing officers during administrative hearings.
