Sharon Winkler is familiar with estate tax laws and regulations, and has negotiated settlements relating to valuation of assets, interpretation of the laws, effectiveness of various dispository terms under wills, trusts and other methods of transfer. Sharon is also experienced in conflicts in trust and estate administration and in her past, has served as Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Tax and Head of Estate Administration, where her role involved a considerable amount of negotiating. In 2022, Sharon volunteered briefly with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center as a way to give back to the community and was a neutral in a couple of mediations. Sharon received a B.S. in Accounting (cum laude) and a J.D. (with honors) from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. Sharon is a registered CPA (inactive) in Arkansas and is licensed to practice law in both Arkansas and Tennessee.
