Originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, Tom Herzog moved to Miami, Florida, to continue his college education and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Following graduation, he attended The Metropolitan Police Institute, where he received certification from the Board of Police Officer Standards and Training as a Police Officer in Florida. Over the years, Tom completed more than thirty specialty training programs covering a range of subjects. Tom then became certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County, Circuit, Family, and Dependency Mediator, with extensive mediation experience across Florida’s 2nd and 14th Judicial Circuits.
