Tobin Lay, JD, MBA, is the COO of Mediation Center, Inc., a facilitator, and a qualified neutral (civil and family mediator) under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. Tobin is passionate about improving communications and understanding around him and in empowering people to choose their own fates through collaborative problem-solving and mediation. He feels driven to enhance growth and satisfaction in others by recognizing and facilitating meaningful connections. In addition to mediating cases, Tobin also teaches others to become mediators and/or to learn interest-based conflict resolution skills through Mediation Center, Inc., and as an occasional Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law; teaching Mediation, Negotiation, Theories of Conflict, and Organizational Conflict Management.
