Senior Mediator at Mariani Mediation Services LLC

Senior Mediator · Attorney

Amy Cashore Mariani of Mariani Mediation Services LLC assists parties with finding solutions to problems large or small. Whether a matter involves millions of dollars or finding a way for neighbors to coexist peacefully, each problem is important to the parties in conflict. Arriving at a solution to a conflict requires careful listening, understanding of the interests and desires of the parties in conflict, and the ability to assist all parties in deciding what options meet their needs. Mariani Mediation Services LLC can help you assess the best way to move from conflict to resolution. Amy Cashore Mariani has been assisting individuals and companies in resolving conflict for over twenty years, first during her career as a trial attorney, and then as a trained mediator, conciliator, and facilitator. She believes every party’s interests differ, and that each case is unique. Through dialogue and separate reflection, she assists parties and their lawyers in prioritizing interests and assessing potential resolutions. Amy has over twenty years of experience as a trial attorney. After graduating from Boston College Law School, she worked for a general practice firm representing the interests of individuals and small businesses in personal injury, employment, and contracts cases. She then worked for several nationally recognized firms on product liability and employment matters before becoming a partner at New England’s premier minority and women owned law firm, where she handled personal injury, products liability, commercial, employment, and wage and hour claims. Amy received extensive training in mediation, facilitation, and conciliation at MCLE and the Community Dispute Settlement Center. After completing a practicum with CDSC, she joined their panel of neutrals in 2014. She has mediated personal injury, employment, wage and hour, and commercial disputes involving individuals, small businesses, and the largest of corporations.

How we collaborate

Alternative dispute resolution works best when all parties feel heard and understood. Each party’s interests and needs differ, and helping parties to identify and prioritize interests is one of the primary things a neutral can do to help move from conflict to resolution. To that end, advance discussions with parties and counsel as well as break out sessions during an ADR event can be quite useful.
