Ms. Van Horne has successfully mediated a variety of disputes, and is available to mediate cases in both Nebraska and Iowa. She has particular expertise in the area of personal injury, where her years of litigation experience for both plaintiffs and defendants provide insight into how a case will progress to verdict. She is a Diplomate member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and is also admitted to the American College of Civil Trial Mediators. Ms. Van Horne is also active in the community, serving on the board of Legal Aid of Nebraska and as a regular volunteer for the Tenant Assistance Project of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Ms. Van Horne is admitted to practice in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the state courts of Nebraska and Iowa, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
