Hi! My name is Joan Bundy! I have been practicing law for 20 years, primarily as a solo practitioner focusing on family law with some work in civil pet custody lawsuits, juvenile court (such as adoptions) and estate planning. I also have a long-time abiding interest in ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) and particularly mediation. I have considerable training in mediation and collaborative law. I have handled numerous private mediations for clients and mandatory arbitrations for the county superior court where I reside. I find the work extremely rewarding and, as I tell clients, it gives them back their power and dignity to make decisions that are uniquely suited to themselves and their family. That is the true joy of helping people mediate their disputes and resolving matters for the best outcome of all involved! Also, since I am a licensed attorney, I can also handle preparation of any out-of-court agreements reached and the drafting, filing and calendaring of all court paperwork in their matter.
