Since beginning an ADR Practice in 2014, Mary Jo Gilsdorf has served as an Arbitrator in nearly 200 matters and as a Mediator resolving more than 180 matters primarily involving construction law. With over 15 years of varied, hands-on construction industry experience in the preparation, presentation and resolution of claims through informal negotiation processes and alternative dispute resolution proceedings between the various levels of subcontractor, contractor, construction manager, owner and architect parties before beginning her ADR practice, she applies a practical and pragmatic approach to the resolution of claims. Currently serving on several Alternative Dispute Resolution Panels as an Arbitrator and Mediator handling matters involving construction, breach of contract, real estate, personal injury, business dissolution, legal fees, landlord-tenant, mortgage foreclosure, consumer, and other commercial disputes. Additional extensive experience with complex contract negotiations, real estate transactions, insurance coverage, third party bodily injury claims, commercial litigation, pipeline royalty claims, consumer claims and environmental law.
