Cynthia Sandoval is a neutral who's dedicated her entire career to employment law. What makes her a truly unique mediator is her experience as plaintiff, defense and in-house counsel. With this background, she connects with the parties and counsel in a trusted and sincere manner. Cynthia built a strong following and has successfully mediated a wide variety of disputes from single plaintiff to large, complex class and PAGA actions. Prior to becoming a full-time mediator, Cynthia has litigated numerous cases to trial and arbitration, which provides her a strong understanding of the risks associated with employment law claims. This wealth of experience coupled with her ability to create connections and understand the competing interests gives her the ability to work with the parties and drive results. Cynthia is also bilingual and able to conduct mediations in Spanish. Her varied experience enables her to appreciate the perspectives of both plaintiffs and defendants and brings an understanding that permits her to relate to both parties. Additionally, she appreciates the business perspectives of employers and in-house counsel. Cynthia expertly litigated matters involving: Discrimination, Sexual harassment, Disability claims, Leave issues, Wage and hour violations (including class action and PAGA). In addition to Cynthia’s private mediation practice, she serves on the Mediation Panel of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, where she leads its Mediation Practice Group.
