Matthew Grimshaw founded Law Office of Matthew A. Grimshaw PLLC in 2018. Before starting his own firm, he worked as an attorney for the Cramp Law Firm, where he began as a law clerk and later joined as an attorney in November 2016. He earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2016, following his MBA from St. Mary’s University Greehey School of Business in 2015. Matthew is a proud member of the Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi and graduated in the top 18% of his class. Recognized for his exceptional work in family law, he was nominated as a Rising Star in 2021 and 2022, an honor awarded to just 2.5% of attorneys, based on peer nominations. Originally from a Texas-rooted family, Matthew was raised in San Diego, California, as part of a military family. In 2008, he relocated to San Antonio to attend Trinity University, where he played varsity baseball for two years before transferring to Texas A&M University. There, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics. Growing up in a military family, Matthew learned the importance of understanding and supporting the unique needs of individual families, as well as the role strong families play in serving and protecting the community at all levels.
