I act as an outside neutral (either by agreement of the lawyers or having been appointed as mediator by the Court) in cases involving commercial and residential property appraisal and tax lawsuits, business disputes, construction claims, divorce, and other areas of law. Experience matters, and I have more than 20 years of trial experience in federal and state trial and appellate courts. Through mediation we resolve lawsuits and disputes outside the courtroom. Mediation is completely confidential, so parties and lawyers can speak freely and openly with me about their case. I employ my negotiation skills and extensive experience as a trial lawyer to help craft custom solutions that make sense for both sides. Each side in a lawsuit has risk, and each side has a desired outcome. My job as a mediator is to find a way to bring both sides together to a solution that is win-win.
