Steve Flynn is recognized as a “Credentialed Distinguished Mediator” and his mediation experience includes work with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center, and Dispute Resolution Services of North Texas. This includes involvement with 500+ meditations, enhanced by more than 200 hours of mediation training. Utilizing skills strengthened in his 32 years in senior and executive-level corporate management and through an ongoing focus on personal development, Mr. Flynn offers a unique blend of talents – confidence, compassion, keen listening, ideas, and more ideas, problem-solving, and masterful negotiation. Mr. Flynn is a proven professional executive with over 32 years of business experience with General Motors. This includes expertise in the areas of Sales and Marketing, Customer Satisfaction, Dealership Relations, and Dispute Resolution. Mr. Flynn participated in the General Motors Dispute Resolution Process with their dealer partners, which resulted in a very high (90%) resolution rate and avoided costly legal fees for both parties. Since retiring from GM in 2017, Mr. Flynn has been actively involved in the mediation process as an independent Mediator, with significant experience at the Dallas Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) and North Texas Dispute Resolution Service (DRS). This pro bono work includes 125+ mediations and a partnership with several local courts. Mr. Flynn also works in the healthcare industry as a Credentialed Mediator with the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). He has significant mediation experience in all areas of Dispute Resolution, including the Automotive industry, business contracts, insurance, property disputes, and family conflict.
