Timothy Alger

Timothy Alger, a seasoned litigator at top international law firms and former Deputy General Counsel at Google, brings his expertise to Alger Resolutions as a full-time mediator and arbitrator. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s national roster and numerous federal and state court mediation panels. Tim focuses on resolving disputes involving intellectual property, privacy, contracts, business transactions, online and traditional media, defamation, civil rights, and the cannabis industry. A creative problem-solver, he excels at helping parties evaluate litigation risks, costs, and benefits. In mediation, his goal is to reach a fair and practical resolution. In arbitration, he engages in full consideration of the facts and the law and strives to give the parties a fair and speedy decision. Tim has represented individuals and companies in cutting-edge litigation involving business ownership and management, copyrights, trademarks, class actions, online speech, a broad array of commercial agreements, and government regulation.
